I’ve just been thinking about what a bow tied planet might be like.

A bow tied planet

postcard

I have been on holiday to the Yorkshire Moors, you can read my postcard here

Whilst Caroline and I have been out at some meetings Herb has been out doing some shopping. We are staying in London but he had a look at the A-Z and worked out where to go.

Herb doing shopping on the Cromwell road

I was wondering if how well a teapot pours can be calculated. If you took all the heights and angles and bits. Perhaps you could also calculate what sort of teapot would suit you best depending on how tall you are (and therefore what height you might pour the tea from). I’m sure there must be a mathematician out there somewhere who would know the answer.

Mr G sitting at the front of a bus

I was on a bus today and I sat on the seat right at the front, it was a bit like being the driver. I’m not sure if I could learn to drive a bus or not, I think if I could I would prefer to drive it from the upstairs!

Code yellow alert surrounded with bananas

Code yellow is when you’re tummy is rumbling and you need to have a banana. Caroline can’t eat bananas so she would have to have something else, I’m not sure if there are many other foods that are as yellow as bananas………….

Mr G and Herb jumping on a bed

We are staying in a hotel, the first thing Herb and I did when we arrived was to have a little jump on the bed!

Nut and bolt

I went to see my friend Nigel (the steam train, not the hippo) at the National Railway Museum, he’s having an overhaul (being examined and repaired, a bit like going to the doctors), he was been taken very good care of. There were a lot of bits everywhere, i didn’t know what most of them were but some were very large. I thought instead of a bunch of grapes I ought to take him some nuts (and bolts!!!)

Mr G in pink cap

I’ve borrowed one of Caroline’s hats, I think it rather suits me, would you say it’s more raspberry or plum in colour?! You could use the colour of hot to guide what sort of jam you have on your scone (though not in all circumstances).

Mr G playing tiddly gammon

I’ve had a thought for a new game, if cross tiddlywinks with backgammon, you’d get Tiddlygammon! I’ve not tried playing it yet, you could spend a lot of time looking for the pieces afterwards!
