Bow tie selection

Well, I learned something very important indeed, that is always to be prepared and………. Take two ties!! I was going to wear my Union Jack tie but when I was getting changed I found that it had come apart and needed repairing. Caroline didn’t have any needle and thread on her but thankfully I had packed two ties, as I hadn’t fully made up my mind. So, I wore my best black tie and it was all fine. We had a very good meeting and an excellent afternoon tea to follow. Whilst I was at Westminster I did wonder what Big Ben would look like with a bow tie, what kind of design do you think would best suit him?
