Super super!

Hello everyone, sorry I’ve not been around for ages, it’s all been quite busy with working on my story book, I’ve been having my portrait done for the illustrations, it’s not there yet but it’s coming. Anyway it means I have to sit still for hours on end which makes it difficult to write on here. Actually it makes it rather difficult to do anything, luckily I do get tea breaks though, phew!

So, I want to tell you about the Super Bowl, I watched it last night, I know, I bet you thought I was going to say I had my soup out of it or something (soup from a super bowl, hehe!) but no, it’s actually a thing, well it’s a sport in America. It’s the final of the American football league and its set in this massive huge dome, which is odd again because that’s the wrong shape. If its a bowl surely the lid would be the other way up?

It was quite difficult to follow at first, they all line up and then they throw the ball, move a bit and then it stops again, occasionally they scored and then it all started again. The game was in four quarters and we were just in to the third one and then all the lights went out! They couldn’t keep playing so they had to just stand around and do stretches and things. Someone said it was important they keep hydrated and I thought so too, I think it’s very important to keep hydrated and that’s what I keep telling caroline now ‘I need to keep hydrated’ though Caroline says if I want to keep hydrated I need to drink I more water, but I don’t like water as much as tea. They eventually started playing again the team that wasn’t doing so well caught up a bit, which was nice. I had to go to bed before the final quarter as I was very tired, it had been very exciting but it it was hard work trying to understand what was going on.

I liked American football, I particularly liked the gold and red outfit. I’m not sure I could play it though, mainly because the helmets wouldn’t fit my head,I think my mouth would get squashed and that wouldn’t be very good at all. I will have to look for another game I could play, any suggestions?

I will write again soon with my news, I’ve got lots of things to tell you, I’ve saw snow for the first time, that was exciting and I got some post and I saw some giraffes whilst I was away and yes! I must write and tell you about it soon.

Bye for now
